How to play Spotify music on Sonos Speakers

Spotify on Sono products

It's well known that Spotify and Sonos have intimate relationships. Most Sonos products have built-in Spotify Music App, that is to say you can directly play Spotify Music songs or playlists on Sonos directly.

Users now can play music from Spotify on its speakers with Amazon's Alexa voice assistant. To enable Spotify, users must choose it as their preferred service inside the Alexa app. Once that's done, you can tell Alexa to play your full collection of Spotify playlists, artists, albums, and songs.

The addition of Spotify addresses one of my main gripes with the Sonos One, the company's first speaker with integrated mics for Alexa. At launch, the One couldn't play music from Spotify with voice; you had to start playing from the Sonos or Spotify app and then could use voice for skipping tracks or adjusting volume.
